Introduction
A group of storytellers worked together on a National Arts Council Silver Arts Project with seniors over 8 weekly sessions. We pulled out memories of their youth and collected memories of dialect rhymes, ones they knew and ones their friends knew. They were given story prompts and they played improvisation games. Another 4 sessions (2 workshops & 2 rehearsals) followed after that to prepare some of the seniors to share their rhymes and stories in 2 public performances.
