Every June school holiday period, the museums of Singapore dedicate exhibits and interactive activities to children.  They want to make heritage, art, culture, and science accessible to the children. I played my part, three times, at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) gallery to bring to children and families the appreciation of Singapore as 'My Fair City'.   How do you educate little children about city planning?  Well, it all boils down to community building.  Whether it is in ancient times or modern times, whether it is Singapore or some other country, community building is the key to any kind of city planning.  So, I told a native American story of Maushop and His Porpoises.  After that, the moms and dads, grandpas and grandmas bonded with their children to build their very own city with MARSHMALLOWS!   Oh... It was fun.
